Men listen to stories differently than women. They don't swim in an emotional sea, but rather pour logic and explanations into my story in a subtle way. They listen carefully and thoughtfully and analyze. They try to understand why it happened, what is now, and what will happen next. They break my story down into its components, dissect it, wash its parts, and translate the story anew, from the clean parts. Men also need to tell their stories, and they listen to stories differently, but just as valuable.
