When a painful story happens, it needs to be told many times to get the odor out, smooth out the corners and heal the wounds. I tell it to my friends and women who will become my friends. We direct our attention to this story. My attention as a storyteller and this woman's attention as a listener. As we live this story together again, we share a drink together, we also share these moments of life that happened to me. And the shadow that this story casts on my life is shrinking and becoming dimmer.
