She walked for many days and nights to reach the desert. On the blackest night, she lit a fire inside her, the fire of her heart. She made it burn with full force, with all its energy. And she began to call out to God.
She called to Him for a very long time, and the night did not end. The night lasted for six months, maybe even longer, and the day did not come.
And then God came, and He appeared as old as the world itself. He was age itself. And he did not speak.
Then she scattered on the ground the bones of those who died in the war. Those who defended our land. Those who died innocently.
And her fire continued to burn, and took over her. And she burned. And in that fire she was able to say her plea to God. She asked God to show her His palm, and He did. And she began to read the Lord's hand to see when the war would end.
