The painting conveys the emptiness of sufferings, which are born from the pure sufferings, which come out of nothing. These sufferings appear when a person constantly expects the worst, is displeased with everything and everyone and forgot how to enjoy life and simple things. The painting is about neural pathways. We either teach ourselves to be happy despite everything or surrender ourselves to sufferings, which bring with them even more sufferings.
