On December 16, the Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea celebrated its 30th anniversary. Despite the enemy shelling and lack of electricity, we managed to gather friends, partners and colleagues to show Russia that we are not afraid of it, and the lack of light and heat will not stop us.
The event included a panel discussion on "Achievements and challenges on the way to a de-occupied and peaceful Crimea". The participants joined the event to summarize the results of joint activities, discuss strategies and look ahead to the next year: Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandra Azarkhina, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov, Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People Refat Chubarov, Permanent Representative Tamila Tasheva, Head of the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol Ihor Ponochovnyi and Advocacy Director of the ZMINA Human Rights Center Olena Luneva.
Afterward, the guests were presented with an art project dedicated to political prisoners and activists who have been resisting the occupation all this time. Artist and Crimean Tatar ceramist Rustem Skybin, artist Olena Kayinska, and artist Volodymyr Kuznetsov personally attended the event and presented their works. Ukrainian artist Alevtina Kakhidze also joined the event online.
All the artworks will be sold at the auction organized by the Mission together with the Ukrayinska Pravda publication and the international charity foundation Come Back Alive. Follow the pages of UP not to miss the painting that will become not only your favorite in the collection, but also bring our victory and the enemy's defeat closer, as all proceeds will go to cover 100% of the needs of the legendary Crimean pilots from the 10th Naval Aviation Brigade named after Hero of Ukraine Ihor Bedzai.
