Lviv, Kyiv, Kharkiv... The Art

group exhibition
15 July - 15 August 2022
Bückeburg, Germany

This Friday, a special art event started on the castle island in Bückeburg. Works by ten artists from the Ukrainian cities of Lviv, Kyiv and Kharkiv will be on display. The paintings and graphics of different styles were printed on large-format wooden panels and placed in a scaffolding construction specially erected for this exhibition. The approximately 1000 sqm open-air area offers an impressive art presentation.
The exhibition is organized by Bückeburg en plein air UG. With their campaign, the initiators want to offer artists a forum and a place for exchange about the
consequences of Russia's war of aggression for Ukrainian art and culture. The 30-day exhibition is framed by discussion and music events. The patron of the exhibition is Prince Alexander zu Schaumburg-Lippe. The proceeds are intended to support the participating artists and cultural institutions in their cities.
The exhibition is open daily until August 24, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free. More information about the art shown and the accompanying program is on the website www.bbpleinair.de.
